Show Log Line: After an out of work cobbler moves his family to a small town to run a recently inherited bowling alley, he must contend with the small town way of life and a crazy prison convict who believes he is the rightful heir to the bowling alley and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it back.

This story takes place in modern day Darien, Georgia with flashbacks to the days of its beginning. The town of Darien was founded by Oglethorpe to protect Georgia's border with Florida and its Spanish conquerors. Scottish Highlanders were recruited to discourage Spanish aggression and encourage the overall success of the colony. A young Hugh Alexander arrived from Scotland, ready for adventure and opportunity. To this day, the Alexander family continues the adventure. "Darien" is an immersive series that centers around an Army reserve officer and helicopter pilot, Samantha Alexander "Sam", who moves back to Darien to run for mayor. Sam's father Captain Alex of the shrimp boat “Grave Digger" is looking to retire and pass the wheel to his son Max the next Alexander to continue the family tradition. Darien’s history has been one of strength and protection of Georgia and its people.

This is a story of a father and his two sons and the choices they make. Brad the oldest is the devoted and loyal son always doing what he feels his father wants. Johnny the youngest is passionate and impulsive, looking to experience life to the fullest. The story begins in a small town not so far from you at a company called Manna and Sons home of the well-known Wafer King snack food brand. People from across the globe enjoy their chips, cookies, crisps and yes even wafers.
